The Past

David Wolfson, founder and CEO of ID Lab, has over 18 years' experience running his own successful design and production consultancy, previously David Wolfson & Associates. He has worked with a number of established and emerging designers including Tommy Hilfiger, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Zero by Maria Cornejo, Stephen Sprouse, other big names. 

David got his start in the business through his Italian mother who ran her own factory throughout the 60s and 70s. In 1968 they produced Calvin Klein's first collection and continued to work together until David founded his company in 1997.

The Present

David believes in forming lasting relationships with all his clients, resulting in a network of designers who come to him for his many years of knowledge and expertise. 

Some of his current clients include Sleepy Jones and up-and-coming brands Draper James, 1.61 and Gabriela Hearst. 

The Future

ID Lab is a design incubator helping innovative designers bring their ideas into fruition with cutting-edge machines and technology. Located in NYC's garment district, ID Lab is a valuable resource for anyone looking to forge the future of fashion. We offer services such as bonding, etc.
